New Delhi: On the special occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has initiated the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, which he announced during his address on the 77th Independence Day celebrations at the Red Fort. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance, skill training, skill development, and marketing support to small artisans and craftsmen across India. Its aim is to enhance their well-being and promote India’s culture, tradition, and craftsmanship.
