Shalom Institute of Mental Health and Research (SIMHAR) is a mental health care hospital combined with a psychosocial rehabilitation and de-addiction center located in Palakkad, Kerala, aiming to treat those with stress-related illnesses, mental disorders, and other psychological conditions. For those who are mentally ill, SIMHAR offers all-encompassing remedies. Our mental health center also provides specialized care for schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, obsessive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, de-addiction treatment for alcoholics and drug users, depression, children with a variety of behavioral problems, and institutionalized care for geriatric psychiatric patients.
